The Professional Rights and Responsibilities of Faculty Members and Roles and Professional Responsibilities of Academic Leaders (PRR) is comprised of a policy document and a procedural document that set out in broad terms the privileges and responsibilities, as well as the standards of professional conduct forÌýboth the faculty and academic leaders. The PRRÌýoriginated with the BFA in 1982 and was eventually approved as an academic policy by Provost Russell Moore in 2013. A revised PRR policy was signed by Provost Russell Moore on February 11, 2022.

Following changes to Regent Law Article V in 2018, the BFA worked with members of CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø Legal Counsel, Faculty Ombuds, and Faculty Relations to revise the procedural part of the PRR.ÌýThe BFA Assembly approved the revised procedures documentÌýin 2021, and approved a further update in 2022.

As campus and system policy changes, the PRR procedural document and the enabling policy will be revised as needed. All modifications will be reviewedÌýby the Assembly and the office of Academic Affairs.ÌýÌý
