Faculty RelationsÌý- The position of director of faculty relations was established in 2007 in recognition of the need to provide services to faculty members and academic administrators to help develop and maintain working relationships that are positive and productive. These services include individual consultation, mediation, assessment of unit dynamics, and investigations of allegations of unprofessional behavior as defined in the PRD (Professional Rights and Duties of Faculty Members.)Ìý

Ombuds Office - The Ombuds office assists all CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø students, staff, and faculty with any university-related dispute or concern. The Ombuds Office is a safe, credible, accessible and voluntary resource. Services are offered free of charge and are kept in strict confidence.

Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC) - The Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC) is responsible for three policies at the Â鶹¹ÙÍø: Sexual Misconduct, Protected Class Discrimination and Harassment, and Conflict of Interest in Amorous Relationships. If you have a need to report an incident or have a question about your responsiblity to report, please contact them directly. They are happy to assist you.Ìý

TheÌýPRR (Professional Rights and Responsibilities of Faculty Members and Roles and Professional Responsibilities of Academic Leaders)Ìýis a document that sets out in broad terms the privileges and responsibilities, as well as the standards of professional conduct of the faculty at CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø.

Ceratin faculty grievances may be heard by theÌý±Ê°ù´Ç±¹´Ç²õ³Ù’sÌý(PAC). Please read the policy for more information on what these grievances may be and/or contact the BFA Grievance Advisory Committee for more information.

Ìý-ÌýThe mission of the CU P&T is to provide Faculty Senate members a hearing for grievances involving perceived violations of rights and privileges. That is, P&T is the due-process vehicle for Faculty Senate members. This is a System level committee and eligible CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø faculty should contact the for more information.Ìý

These are policies that apply to all CU campuses.

CU is governed by the Board of Regents, and Regent Laws are the laws of the university as directed by the Board of Regents. Some Regent Laws and Policies are currently under review.

These are general campus policies specific to CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø.

CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø faculty and staff members can submit a single application each academic year to be considered for up to three different funds designed to support their dependents who are pursuing higher education.

Eligible CU employees can receive a waiver for up to a total of 9 credit hours of tuition (space-available basis) per year (fall through summer). Employees have the option to transfer the benefit to a dependent. Dependents of CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø employees can receive a discount of 30 percent off of tuition.
