Types of Agreements

CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø enters into many types of agreements with sponsors, including the federal government, foundations, other universities, and industry. These relationships are governed by agreements between CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø and the sponsor which define each party’s rights and obligations in the relationship.

Many types of agreements received by CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø, but not all, are accepted under the authority of the Office of Contracts and Grants (OCG). These agreements, including incoming subcontracts, usually require negotiation between CU Â鶹¹ÙÍø and the sponsor and always require OCG's approval/signature.
